Aussie Land

We have been in Australia for 8 days now and we have spent all of that time in Melbourne. We have done a lot of cool things here like going to an old jail, watching a cricket game and even just exploring Melbourne. Do you know that Melbourne has 4 million people?

A picture of the main corner of Melbourne's CBD (Central Business District): the Flinders Street Train Station.

The Yarra River, which originally means a waterfall :

The old Melbourne jail:

A cell in the old Melbourne jail:

In this jail close to 200 criminals were executed including Australia's most notorious criminal Ned Kelly. This is a copy of his homemade body armor. His picture is standing next to me:

In the jail we experienced what it was like to be arrested and held. I was booked for aggravated burglary and was put in a holding cell.  I did have a mug shot taken.

Here is a cricket game between the Victoria Bushrangers and the Queensland Bulls (the bulls are batting) Cricket games can last a long time! They can last anywhere between 4 hours to 5 days!

We are flying to Sydney tomorrow for five days then we are heading back to Hong Kong.

Bye
